October 2 - Assistant Governor, Area 1, Ron Mabry asks that we save the date for Area 1's Haiti School Rebuilding Fundraiser to be held in Front Royal on Saturday, October 2, 2010. This fundraiser is a combined effort of all the Area 1 clubs in partnership with Shenandoah University.

She will be talking about being part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Urban Search and Rescue Team. She will be bringing her search and recover dog Rogue and will be discussing the several rescues her team made in Haiti after the earthquake.

Finding quotable passages from Jesus was not that easy, as most of what is recorded of what he said (in the gospel books: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) are either metaphorical stories, or Jesus responding to particular questions that had been put to him. Neither work very well when taken out of context.
WEEKLY CLUB MEETING:
The Frederick County, Virginia Rotary Club meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM on the campus of Shenandoah University for breakfast, fellowship and business.
