Club Outreach Sub-Committees:Community – Malcolm Van de Riet - Do not forget your CCAP food donation.International – Sara BradleyVocational – Natalie Miller - During the school year

Sherando Interact Club meets twice a month and counts as a make-up. Show your support for YOUR Interact Club try visiting

Foundation – John Zimet - As I have mentioned on several occasions, all Rotary Clubs are being asked to raise money for PolioPlus. Since we did not contribute anything last year, our requested annual contribution of $33 per member for three years (actually $100 since I knocked off the pennies) now has to be raised in two years, or $50.00 per year. In order to facilitate this process, I have placed a "PolioPlus Collection Jar" on the sign-in table. If each member puts a minimum of $1.00 in the jar each week, we will meet our goal in the two week period. The collection jar made its debut last week. The good news is that we raised $103.00 in one week. The bad news is that $100.00 of that amount came from one member. I know that we can do better than that! PLEASE drop one dollar each week (less than 15 cents per day)to do your part in wiping out this dread disease. Can you think of anything better to do with 15 cents per day?

Long Range Planning – Conrad Koneczny Long Range Planning Committee meeting August 27, 2009. Same place same time.

By-Laws – Kitty Zuckerman The next committee meeting is September 24, 2009. This is a new committee.
