About our Rotary
Club – The Rotary Club of
Frederick County was founded in 1981 in Stephens
City , Virginia with about 20 charter members, and
has been providing help to local, regional and international organizations for
nearly 22 years. Today our Rotary Club
has almost 60 members and is active in all aspects of our community.
Our Rotary Club
meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM on the campus of Shenandoah University
for breakfast, fellowship and business. Each
meeting has a special speaker, program or Club business.
Guests and are welcome by invitation of a member of the Club. Visiting Rotarians are always welcome.

Joining Rotary - Rotarians
are members of Rotary clubs. Rotary clubs belong to Rotary International.
To become a Rotarian, you must be invited to join a Rotary club by a member of
that club.
A qualified candidate for Rotary club
membership is an adult of good character and good business, professional, or
community reputation. The candidate fits one of the following criteria: 1. Holds
or has held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy
and recognized business or profession. 2. Serves or has served as a community
leader. 3. Is a Rotary Foundation Alumna.
