September 29, 4:30 to 7:30pm - BBQ Event at Sherando Park Shelter east of Stephens City in the Sherando Park - Malcolm Van de Riet needs your help selling tickets.

September 22, 2009, - PR Committee meeting following our regular morning meeting
October 1, 2009, 6:00pm – By-Laws Committee meeting. Check with Kitty Zuckerman. Location will be at 126 N. Kent Street, Winchester.
October 7, 2009, 6:00pm - Long Range Planning Committee meeting. Check with Conrad Koneczny. Location will be at 93 Lee Street, Winchester.

COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Membership – Martha Shickle - Thanks for everyone's help with the membership social last week.

Club Administration – Chris Place - Our Christmas gathering is scheduled for December 5th at Historic Jordan Springs.

Public Relations – Steve Gyurisin – We will have a brief PR committee meeting on September 22nd following our regular morning meeting.

Club Outreach – Bill North - Please sign up to help with the BBQ event.
Club Outreach Sub-Committees:
Community – Malcolm Van de Riet – Hey, Hey, Hey...Let's sell BBQ tickets.
International – Sara Bradley- Please keep in mind that GSE team member applications are due by September 30, 2009. Thanks!
Vocational – Natalie Miller - During the school year Sherando Interact Club meets twice a month (1st & 3d Wednesdays) and counts as a make-up. Next meeting is: September 16, 7:00pm at Sherando High School, Choral Room.
Foundation – John Zimet - STAND - WALK - BREATHE

Official Governors Visit - Please add Tuesday, October 20th to your calendar at the meeting of Winchester's Latest is the Official Governors Visit. Governor Ron Napier and his wife Kathy will be honored by Area 1.

Sherando Scholarships - If someone gives Kitty Zuckerman a big check for their birthday...a check equal to their age...they will get their choice of birthday song. This little fun treat has really helped to raise money for Sherando HS scholarships.
