Call John Brubaker for more information. Call Charles Daniels if you need a day-trip ride.

From Erica de Azagra: Make plans to attend this important and fun filled club event on March 15th at 5:00pm. We are hosting the GSE Bolivia team in the lower level of the Oak crest Companies office building on Kent Street starting at 5:00 pm with a pot-luck dinner. Erica is looking for a responsible leader to coordinate the last minute details and make sure our host event for the GSE team moves along that evening. Have you ever dreamed of being a wedding planner? Here is your chance to test your skills. Contact Erica if you are up to the challenge: 540-539-5652 or deazragra@gmail.com

· Volunteers are needed to set-up and clean-up. If you can help, please let Erica know that she can count on you.
· Please plan to attend. It is a pot luck dinner. Let’s show our Bolivian GSE visitors how great our pot luck dinners can really be…bring your favorite dish…show our visitors what real home cooking is all about.

From John Zimet: The potluck will be on Thursday, March 15th at about 5:00 in the Oak Crest cellar (where we held the Christmas Party), 126 North Kent Street. And this message from …Steve, March 15 is the Bolivian GSE team -- not Brazil!!! John

From Janet Johnson, DGE: Mark April 30th on your calendar. Why not try some District Club Training Assembly, Virginia Western Community College in wonderful Roanoke, Virginia from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is great training for club secretaries, treasurers and all interested in Foundation, Membership and Grant Writing. Plus, why not stay and enjoy the exceptional farm market in downtown Roanoke. Make your trip a Rotary adventure while you learn.

From our President Joe Myer: As I mentioned at the onset of my year, good speakers are the key element to offering a meeting that is attractive to our current and prospective members…You don’t have to know a Senator to get them to speak to our Club, you just have to ask.

From Robin Owens, Interact Club: Here are some dates for you to keep in mind. And, just as a reminder…if you attend an Interact club meeting it is considered a make-up.

All meetings are at Sherando High School Choral Room.

Monday, March 21 2:45-3:30
Monday, April 4 7-8 pm
Monday, April 18 2:45-3:30

From Tammy Stevenson: Sherando FBLA Student Interviews will be May - I will try to confirm today but last conversation was May 9th - 13th. Note: If you haven’t taken time to try this rewarding club activity, ask Tammy all about what we do for the Sherando High School FBLA students. It is fun, it is free, the time goes fast and you get to feel good. Why wouldn’t you want to sign up for this activity?

From Steve Gyurisin: Bill North has volunteered to help better coordinate our weekly speakers and programs. Thanks, Bill! If you have a suggestion for a good GREAT program, please give Bill North or Steve Gyurisin the name and contact information for the speaker.

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
